modulating lift through gates while conserving fuel
Jetpack Dash sends a pilot steadily across an obstacle corridor while gravity pulls the suit downward. Circular gates enter from the right at different heights. Holding thrust raises the pilot; releasing it allows a controlled fall. Passing through a ring adds a strong bonus, and distance keeps accumulating as long as the pilot remains inside the flight corridor.
Hold Up, Space, or the upper touch control to increase lift. The suit has momentum, so letting go does not stop upward motion immediately. Small pulses shape a smoother arc than alternating full burns and long drops. Fuel drains while thrust is active and does not reward hovering. Reset starts a new corridor with a full tank while preserving the best distance score.
Forward distance produces steady points, but clean gate passages provide the meaningful jumps in score. Touching the ceiling or floor, or emptying the fuel tank, removes a life and restarts the pilot at mid-height. The endless course then continues with new rings. Ratings therefore reflect both survival duration and the ability to align with targets rather than merely holding one button.
Look one gate ahead and begin vertical correction before its center reaches the pilot. If rising too quickly, release early and let gravity flatten the path. Approach high gates with fuel in reserve, and accept missing a badly aligned ring instead of crashing into the boundary. A shallow wave pattern is safer and cheaper than dramatic climbs after every target.
The thrust target remains large and anchored above the dynamic viewport edge on phones. Debug mode pulses lift with imperfect rhythm while rings move across the real simulation, producing successes and resets. The text output reports pilot height, vertical velocity, fuel, traveled distance, gate positions, score, and lives so runtime checks can verify inertial flight.
